Directed by Flint Tanquary, Arrival of the Trojan debuted ahead of USC’s 2024 season opener against LSU in Las Vegas as the official kickoff hype video.
A modern twist on the Trojan Horse myth, it features USC players inside a massive airplane, leaping out and crashing into the Coliseum, symbolizing their arrival in the Big Ten Conference.
The video made an immediate impact, going viral across the internet. It was shared by major news outlets, including Sports Illustrated and USA Today, and praised by Bleacher Report as “the toughest hype video of all time.” With over 20 million views across platforms and featured at every USC game in the Los Angeles Coliseum, the project became a true game-changer—so much so that Sony produced an official documentary capturing its creation and impact.
